My bachelor's thesis is a very personal project that is close to my heart because it allows me to express a part of my personality and stand up for it. I want to make a difference with my work and I think that with this work I can ensure more visibility.
More visibility for queer women.

The fight for equal rights for queer people is still a part of many people from every generation. To this day, many systems in society, such as parenthood, are tied to heteronormativity and are defined by law. In order to positively influence the future of young queer people, further visibility factors and changes in society are needed. The media are playing an increasingly important role in young people's search for identity. This is especially true for young queer people who are searching in vain for a role model for their deviant idea of life and a sense of belonging. Even a trip to a normative bookstore in the capital, Berlin, is marked by a lack of visibility on the bookshelves.
